I did this one for a friend. Here we have the Hierophant, protected between Taurus' horns after achieving spiritual and earthly balance through Temperance.⠀

I used Taurus' head to match the throne of the Hierophant card. My friend's sun sign was Gemini so I used mushrooms as horns to express the mental aspects of that sign. The key being to first explore and then balance those internal forces through Temperance. The snake, linking to Gemini's ruler Mercury, wraps itself around the Mushrooms to show the wisdom that can be gained from doing so.⠀

The Hierophant wears the five pointed star of expansion and calmly wears her crown in natural, lush surroundings, which are a result of her inner balance. The light of the sun is channeled through her crown and specifically the symbol of fire. For when a tempered spirit is expressed through a harmonious mind great things can happen! In my friend's case it was growing and cooking delicious, organic food. Hence the strong link to the natural world in the piece.
