오늘 보여드릴 그림은 전쟁으로 인해 죄없는 사람들이 고통을 받는 모습을 보고 시도했던 그림이에요.
처음 시리아 내전이 왜 일어났는지 몰랐는데 검색해보니 여러가지 복합적인 원인이 있더라구요. 독재 정부의 반 시위 문제와 이슬람권이지만 소수종파와 다수종파와의 종교적문제까지 얽혀지고 외교적으로 대리전쟁의 성격을 띄면서 전쟁이 더 커졌는데요. 거기에 이라크 수니파의 무장단체 IS가 시리아의 동부를 점령하면서 정말 복잡해졌죠.
2011년부터 이어져 2017년 미국과 러시아가 휴전협상을 합니다.
전쟁으로 인해 수많은 사망자와 실종자 수, 난민, 실향민들이 발생했는데요. 그 수가 너무 어마어마해서 가늠하기 어려울 정도입니다.
제 생각엔 전쟁은 인간의 이기심이 만들어낸 추악한 결과인 것 같아요. 결국 피해를 보는건 죄없는 사람들인데 말이죠.ㅜㅜ

여러 강대국들의 싸움 속에서 죄없는 난민분들만 피해를 입는 것 같습니다...그러면서 서로 난민을 받지 않으려 하는 모습도 참 보기 씁쓸하더라구요. 역시 전쟁은 사라져야 하겠지만 강대국들이 자기들 이득보는 사업을 접을리는 없겠죠. 여러모로 안타깝습니다.

네 전쟁으로 피해를 본 난민분들을 받아들일것인가에 대한 문제가 많은 화두가 됐었죠. 그와중에 이득을따지는 강대국들을 보며 마음이 많이 안좋았어요. 결국 같이사는 사회인데 말이죠.. 특히 미국 대선때 이민자(특히 이슬람권)와 난민들을 받아들이자는 힐러리와 통제해야한다는 트럼프와의 입장에서 힐러리의 패배 후 힘없이 지지를 했던 난민들의 표정을 잊을 수가 없더군요. (저는 힐러리 지지자였습니다) 잘 봐주셔서 감사해요. 새해 복 많이 받으세요.

I meant in your lifetime. How long ago did you start making art? I have no doubt that this took a very long time to finish, it takes me hours to draw simple pictures if I put effort into making it look good. You are very talented!

Oh I am sorry. I misunderstood. Um I started to draw when I was 17 years old:) but I stopped drawing for a while and started again since I 've gotten married:) I realized drawing pictures make me happy.

아이의 눈밑에 끊어지듯 표현한 그레이톤이 백미네요.
