The process of creating comic pinups.

in drawing •  7 years ago

In the comic art industry, it is quite common for artists to select a 'niche', per se, of how they would like to create their comic work. You've got different sects consisting of pencilers, inkers, colorists, and letterers. I've found that my personal niche is inking. I LOVE inking pinups and comic pages. What is cool about having individual inkers, pencilers, etc. is being able to pass on your work to other artists. It's a collaboration, and an excellent way to make friends and spread your work in the industry and art world. Personally, I like to delve into each group, and develop my skills in each one. It's great practice, and it definitely teaches you to be more versatile and adaptable to different techniques! I hope this small little process and tutorial helps anyone who is interested in becoming a comic/pinup artist. :) Thanks for your support, and please don't forget to follow, resteem, and upvote!
