Drawing #12 - Progression of Steemit Scrapbook Page for Introduction Post

Hello Steemit friends: 

Today I worked on my second scrapbook page for my Steemit Scrapbook; this page in particular is reminiscent of my introductory post on Steemit with the little grumpy cat border I drew around the page. 

When I first joined Steemit about two months ago, I accidentally prematurely posted my introductory post, and my classic grumpy cat face somehow ended up in it, which is not what I had originally planned. 

For this picture, I started out by first drawing the little grumpy cat border with a white gel pen on a black sheet of paper, and added a grumpy cat quote, "I like onions, they make people cry."

I had planned to write out my three paragraph response to a book I had written which is why I added lines to the background, but I decided I wanted to do more drawing.  

I liked the blue because it makes the page seem more vibrant with the pink petals. I didn't like the little speech bubble that much since I already had a lot of white gel pen on the page, which is why I covered it up with petals. I also added a more simple design as a background for the leaf since the leaf was already pretty detailed.
