. Arthur Robins, 2003 6 x 8 inches. I didn’t crop this so you could see it still in the pad.Charcoal and ink on paper. I moved from California back to NYC in 2003 and found a place in Queens NY. I lived there for 7 years from 2003 to 2010. This drawing is the corner a block from my house with the overhead subway, very intense. I did lots of drawings of it and paintings. Queens is mostly immigrants from 100 other countries. Nobody there believed i was born in NYC.
