69TH AND ROOSEVELT DRAWING

69th and roosevelt drawing.jpg. Arthur Robins, 2003 6 x 8 inches. I didn’t crop this so you could see it still in the pad.Charcoal and ink on paper. I moved from California back to NYC in 2003 and found a place in Queens NY. I lived there for 7 years from 2003 to 2010. This drawing is the corner a block from my house with the overhead subway, very intense. I did lots of drawings of it and paintings. Queens is mostly immigrants from 100 other countries. Nobody there believed i was born in NYC.

Your drawing looks pretty interesting. It's abstract and at the same time dynamic somehow. It's a pity that you don't get more attention for your art. Keep it up!

if you knew even just one percent of what I have done to have my work known---your head would explode!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, I think I can understand you.. Nonetheless good luck!

Nice perspective. I always enjoy the feeling of going into drawings. Liked the way you quickly solved the watery reflections on the traffic jam. Cool!

thanks----my drawings are easy t enter..
