I hope you are having a great Saturday.

Yesterday I managed to complete the doodle challenge which I sometimes combined with lettering. Today I wanted to celebrate this achievement because it opened the door to a new art form and helped me to cultivate discipline.

Even though sometimes I did not get the results I expected and was frustrated by this I did not give up and continued. I already knew about these arts but I had never dared to experience them on my own, I understood that talent is necessary but also to have the habit and the will.

For 30 days I experimented with the versatility of different materials such as paper sheets, cardboard sheets, markers, graphite pencils, wax crayons, colored pencils, and even nail polish.

The doodles challenge I followed was from Pinterest and I found it one day when I was planning on what I could publish. I decided at that moment that I had to complete the challenge but also give my style to everything I was going to do, a month before starting this challenge I had started learning about Hand lettering so I thought it would be a good idea to incorporate that practice into this project.

From now on it is within my plans to continue learning and improving my skills and I would love to continue sharing with all of you what I create in the future.

Hola, queridos amigos.

Espero que esten teniendo un gran sábado.

Ayer logré culminar el desafío de doodles el cual combiné en ocasiones con lettering. Hoy quiero celebrar este logro porque me abrió las puertas a este nuevo arte y también me ayudó a cultivar la disciplina.

Aunque en ocasiones no obtuve el resultado que esperaba y me frustraba por esto, no me rendí y continue. Ya conocía sobre estas formas de arte pero nunca me había atrevido a experimentarlas por mi misma, comprendí que el talento es necesario pero también tener el hábito y la voluntad.

Durante 30 días experimenté con la versatilidad de diferentes materials tales como hojas de papel, láminas de cartulina, marcadores, lápices de grafito, crayolas de cera, lápices de colores e incluso esmalte para uñas.

El desafío de doodles es de Pinterest y lo encontré un día mientras estaba planificando sobre qué podría publicar. Decidí en ese momento que lo debía completar pero también darle mi propio estilo a cada cosa que iba a hacer, un mes antes de comenzar este desafío había empezado a aprender sobre lettering asi que pensé sería una buena idea incorporar esta práctica a este proyecto.

De ahora en adelante esta en mis planes continuar aprendiendo y mejorando mis habilidades y me gustaría continuar compartiendo con todos lo que vaya creando en el futuro.
