Like an ocean cousin to 'Jonathan Livingston Seagull' ~ Daring to be free and not constrained by what other fishes think a fish should be.

'Jonathan Seagull is a story for one who knows that somewhere there’s a higher way of living than scuffing the tracks of others, someone who yearns to fly the way their own heart yearns to fly.'

'It’s a reminder that the path for us to follow is already written within, that it's for each of us to find our own loves, and live them brightly for ourselves. Others may watch, they may admire our resolution or despise it, but our one freedom is for us to love and to choose every day of our lives, as we wish.' Source

Have a carefree weekend @scrawly ♥︎♥︎⚖️♥︎♥︎

Beautiful comment, Ally <3.

Thank you for introducing me yet to another wonderful art out there ^_^.

Thank you and pleasure. If you haven't read JLS @scrawly ~ It's an enjoyable read.

Hope you have a creative and fun week, with the gills and feelers to deal with any weirdos that might come your way. ♥︎♥︎⚖️♥︎♥︎

What a lovely message, I wish you the same, Ally <3.

And it's truly appropriate that your name can be shortened to an ally, hehehhe.

Thanks @scrawly. It's hot again ~ Has been a gentle creative time.

One of the reasons why I really like using 'Ally' rather than my full name. Family have another name, but that's another story.

Saw this short video this morning and thought you might like it.

Hahhaha, this is awesome... and true :D.

Thought you'd like it. The narrative was a quote by Winston Churchill. I hadn't heard it before ~ Love the animation and the message.

This is so steampunk like, @scrawly :D Very marvellous design and wonderfully illustrated ! Love that one fish at the foreground who is looking with surprise at the big fish :D :D :D

Gorgeous composition and I love the deep sea ethereal lighting that you made here as well. I think you captured that murky and mysterious feel of going exploring in the deep sea :D

And yeah, I have no idea why some people are so unpleasant. A real friend is hard to find these days, but we should be thankful for the ones that we've found :) I'm sorry to hear that your week has been rough > __ < If it helps, I think your talents are something that you can bring outside this platform and skills are always worth a lot ! :D :D :D

Keep up the good work, @scrawly ! There are a few of us that's cheering you on \o/

❤❤❤

I get to practice a lot of stuff in this picture and I'm glad people like the result... so win win for everyone, right :D.

Yes, you are right. It's better to count my real friends than counting these "fans". And I am so happy and grateful that I have so many good friends in this site, including you, spideroo <3.

Thank you always for your support.

Cool concept @scrawly this is definitly a special kind of fish 😌

The biggest fish!!! Very special... not recommended for dietary consumption XD.

Thanks bronkong :D.

Cool Concept! I like the pattern of fish in the background too.

Ahhhh thank you, jeltron :D.

This is an interesting vehicle. lol Nice!

And wow, you ran into some weird people esp if they complained about you drawing too much. XD You’d figure anybody would want to see artists draw more and get support for it. shrugs

Hahaha, well there are always weirdos, in real and on the net. Let's hope we don't meet them often.

Thank you Blue <3.

You’re welcome! And yeah, true. Just have to deal with them and brush them off. lol

Mecha fish (looks like a mecha-piranha fish). Gotta be a snippy-snapper that lil' devil, guess that harpoon was going to be useful today! But I think I'll kill the bugger after I use that lil' adorable killing machine to terrorize that anon "fan" that thinks artists are hermits basically. But nie, I love the sketchwork and the oceanic feel of the drawing. Especially with the mecha-fish (yes I know it was a vehicle, I wanted to make a fishing joke) and how we can vaguely see a driver with equipment. Also: fish shocked.

Upvot'd-n-resteem'd.

XD XD

Yes, better focus on the mecha fish and ignore the weirdos. So many of them, ready to ruin our days.

Thank you :).

very cool!

Thank you :D.

Gosh... can't believe I'm so far behind on everything around here. Holidays... thank god, finally everything is back to normal.

Awesome drawing! I love fish! Even more so, when it is a sort of mechanical submarine fish ;-)

Hey, holiday is awesome! Don't feel bad about it. I hope your holiday was filled with great moments and shared with people you love :D.

Aaahhh I know you like steampunk but I didn't know that you like fish! It's great that I get to learn something new about you ^_^.
