I didn't do it in one go, first was the b&w version and now I finished colouring it. The colours took about a day, and the previous work was probably a day or two so all in all, three days.

That is really beautiful painting @scrawly, you managed to do in such fine details that he looks very realistic. Good work on hair that is something I usually spent plenty of time and still sometimes they are not looking like I want. Amazing and would be great to see more of such beauties :)

I used to draw fully digitally when I started and it was hard for me to picture drawing traditionally. But since I picked up a brush and tried out watercolors earlier this year I got in love with it and it's not as hard as people think!
I still use my tablet from time to time, but nowadays mostly to retouch images at the end :) You should try it out sometime!
