In the old city area, it is not difficult to recognize the Neo-Byzantine architecture style, with a dominant round dome and cascading smaller half dome. This certainly contributes a foreign feel for those tourists coming from the West (Western Europe and the Americas) as well as those coming from the East (Far East and Asia). It has a cultural heritage of its own.
