Spider Coccoon

in drawing •  6 years ago  (edited)

There was once a spidery contents here but a spider has now put them inside coccoons.... Like Shelob did with Frodo Baggins~ Or maybe like those fleshy things in Aliens before the chestburster bursts out of them~ Yep, like one of those things :D

Spider, what are you working on and in primarily? I picked up a Surface Pro 2017 a few months back. It was supposed to replace my Wacom Companion 1... which has the common charging problem :^(. But I usually work in Clipstudio and it seem the Surface Pro doesn't like it very much. Panning and zooming are slow and clunky. My selection tools don't snap to point properly. I was considering trying Krita again, but I haven't messed with it in a few years.

OMG HOW DID I MISS THIS COMMENT

hi @jeremyhartillos !!!

i wanted a surface pro but i donno if i can afford it. im currently just using wacom bamboo cth 470 (it's like 10 years old) with my desktop.

Try KRITA again!!! The brushes are really cool * ___ *

no worries about the late reply @veryspider

i will check out Krita again... i picked up a Samsung S3 on sale, now that the S4 is freshly released... it's pretty awesome... not a full PC but i have been using Infinite Painter on that for most of my recent stuff... from Creature Feature 39 or so maybe... it uses Wacom tech for its pen too... better than Surface Ntrig in my opinion

A lovely ink works, spider. I like that you just let your pen loose and magical drawing comes up to life. I noticed that you don't even make a change in judgment when you are creating this piece, what a great imagination you have in your head, ready to be printed into virtual paper :D.

The cross hatching that you made in this piece is very nice and confident. Good job :).

sometimes i get lucky and the picture just wants to come out :D other times it is a lot of CONTROL Z CONTROL ZEEEEEEEEE CONTROL ZEEEEEEEEEEEEE .......... plus crying.

Always with the crying, I tell u~

Thank you, @scrawly <3 Your comments always make me happies :D :D :D

My favourite part in this piccar is actually her thumb that sits on the basket's edge XD It was such a small detail but it fits right in when it pops up into happening :D

I have done already I made Grow logo with it among other sketches but I need to import my brushes and I'm soooo lazy... been lately doing just traditional. I need to clean desktop and organize... INKTOBER is just right there!!!

aaaaaaaah yeah, i can relate. i am also extremely lazy when i have to do things like importing stuff, or organizing my folders, or adminny legwork like those, XD;;;

i hear you, inktober is in a few days' time OMG !!!

I will be out 4 to 7 to do a concert in Barcelona so no daily inktober but it gives me pressure to sketch as much as possible

Very lovely. I like your drawing technique.

Thank you, sweet @hananan <3

Very nice sketch style, I like the contrast of her face against the background.

thank you very much, @jeremyrfk !

Yay, i can vote again! I like the background detail that you did give to the kitchen. What is a veranda anyway?

is like a porch with a roof? wiki describes it as:

A veranda or verandah is a roofed, open-air gallery or porch, attached to the outside of a building. A veranda is often partly enclosed by a railing and frequently extends across the front and sides of the structure.

Kinda like this:
