Portait Sketch Tryout!! Feedback Wanted!!

Hi steemians! Those who have been noticing my posts recently might have seen me trying out drawing. For those who haven't, I have recently picked up pencils and starting playing a little.

I was trying out to draw eyes last night and after finishing the eyes, I decided to complete the face. Frankly speaking, I am quite satisfied with the end result even though I know it is not properly drawn. I hope I'll get better eventually.

First, I posted the drawing in my facebook account with caption "Playing with pencils Last Night!! Cant relate the face to anyone!! Please help!!" to see what my friends had to say. Most of them just commented if the picture was just of my girlfriend or someone that i'm in relation with or going to be. The only critical feedback I had was from my one friend "Looks like a drag queen lol .... sorry".

I was satisfied with the comment I received because I had the same feeling. The looks of the person in the sketch is quite bold and the jawline looks pretty masculine. In fact, I even tried hard making changes while sketching to remove the masculine looks but in vain.

One mistake I can relate to is not taking reference while sketching, the only reference was taken for eyes which i think is okay for my amatuerish level. I hope to find more critical feedback with this post, as I know there are lot of good artist out here.

The tools I used for the sketch were 2B and 6B pencils, eraser and sharpner.
