A rumor floating around in the wind ...... Samsung is buying Steem.

I don't know if it's true but it would help explain a lot.

              The rumour I heard was Samsung bought (not is buying) Steemit (not Steem). My post about it contains info if anyone is interested.

                Steemit's main value is it's Steem token holdings.

                Also it was drutter's article that I first heard this news from. Worth a read :)

                  True, and I've heard Steemit is selling off some of their tokens? A large number is being powered down, and the first chunk has already been sold off. Mostly to the Koreans, no doubt! Ned selling his Steem to the Koreans, hmmm, that certainly lines up with the Samsung rumour nicely. I really wonder how long we'll have to wait to get confirmation.... or maybe a denial?
