Visiting Hell

In my dreams I found myself visiting my brother in his office. (My brother died in a car crash several years ago.) He was busy with work. I was left to care for myself. There was a crowded office party brewing amongst the support staff.

I negotiated the growing crowd looking for an isolated corner in which to hide. There was none to be found. Everyone was laughing, conversing an having a great time. I could not escape.

My brother was irresponsible in life. He relied on support staff to produce and deliver work. Here he had to be responsible. This was his torture spot.

I seriously dislike crowds. I was surrounded by mobs of chatty secretaries. My panic to escape was my torture.

My point is some of us fear being caught in situations we dislike.

The Steem community offers an escape route in real life. Like most things in the real world, there are no guarantees. We work as we can to reach our goals.

Hell is a place without escape. Take advantage of every opportunity while you can.
