Do not edit your dreams...

"Do not edit your dreams, expect it, respect it, embrace it so you are able to live it."fantasy-2890925__480.jpg

I am fascinated by the word "DREAM" and the fact that it is told to us as something that has the capacity to change the world, while still being something anyone can access from anywhere.

Everyone and everything dreams. butterfly-2049567__480.jpg

The man walking on the streets dreams, the lazy man dreams, the hardworking man dreams, the cunning man dreams, the nogooder dreams, the insane man dreams, animals dreams, and then the man who goes to sleep dreams and is encapsulated in the soggy wet and colorless bridges of his dream world, thereby making him dead to rights until he wakes up.
Everyone and everything should dream, but not every dream should be dreamt. The dream you have in the space of time when you are dead to rights, is different from the dream you have with a desire to be exceptional and relevant.
When we sleep at night, we dream or not; but when we look at what it is we are here on earth for, we dream dreams to make us either want to keep living or not.

Dreams are aspirations and a desire to make it good in life, and it is only a man who truly wants it that can get it. He will not get it because he dreamt it, but he may get it because he dared to dream.
Too many people are so smart and intelligent that they are masters of themselves and are known failure evangelist. They know when to edit their dreams and with good cause will tell you, "I LEAVE EVERYTHING FOR GOD or GOD'S TIME IS THE BEST".
Well, God's time is the best no doubt BUT, it is for those who truly understand the principles of time and season. It is for those who understand that, dreaming is important and will come through if they just hold on to it and put in work.
It may look farfetched and that is why you should stay with it. The farther it looks, the more realistic it will seem to a man who has the resolve to see that they come out winning. If it looks easy, close to home and small, it isn't a "dream", it is just one of those moments you have in the soggy recesses of your mind while laying on your bed.

Do not Edit... swimmer-1678307__480.jpg

Laziness makes men edit their dreams because, they get scared of how big and oversized it is and will not want to be seen as putting themselves out there so they do not fail.
Your dreams should scare you and then also excite you because as a dreamer, you are able to utilize your inner child strength and fantasy superhero status.
I believe that, dreamers are often immature in their thought process because, it is only a child that will dare to fly after watching Superman. My dreams scares me, but I just don't want to stop.

Wonderful piece, very inspirational and educative. Fear of failure; falling from such great height of achievement or failure of not attaining to it after couple of efforts, causes a man to edit his dreams. Our dreams ought to scare us but at the same time we should hold it dear while working towards it the much we can.

Thanks for this piece friend.

Dreams are bound to be dreamt, whether in your deep sleep or in your inner man when you are conscious and again when in deep thought. Dreams are good and important. Many destinies were shapened through dreams e. g. Joseph, Jacob, etc. Martin Luther King Jr. prophetic word " I have a dream that one day my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character.... " Wa ooo! what a dream! Surely, I dare say @ejemai, you are a good dreamer too. Truly, it is the lazy man that edits dreams, because he is not ready to take 'risk.' Thanx for this.

Good art ... I like your photos

Yeah we all dream... The size of our dream shouldn't scare us. But then animals dream too? How do we know that?
