It might help to add some pics to your posts to help them stand out. Even clip art or some stock photos that are related to the theme of your post are quite helpful. @kaylinart is a particularly prolific blogger here, check out how her style/substance attracts traffic.

thank you all for replying. A few weeks ago I posted a free copyright type picture on here, but for some reason or another it wouldn't display, so I red flagged the whole posting.
Downvoting a post can decrease pending rewards and make it less visible. Common reasons:
Submit
For pics like that, it might be easier to just copy/paste the link from the original hosting site, and maybe put a "courtesy of" caption on the pic. My understanding is that using the URL effectively credits the original source.
