The dream
In my dream I was returning home late at night. A guy stood at the entrance to my building and tried to kill me. I tried to fight with him and I rang the intercom of all the neighbors and no one answered. He cut me by the hand and wanted to stab me in the throat but he could not, and I started to run and I did not remember what happened after that. I'm 29 years old.

My Interpretation
I will tell you my broad opinion because your description is general and I do not know much about you. It is important to know that interpretation is just an idea and you can either accept it as the basis for your own interpretation or reject it completely.
In each of us, there are dark parts of the soul. They can be repressed thoughts or anxieties that have been built up over the years and have grown or intensified. They can be guilt feelings that breed in us or criminal or immoral behaviors (in our opinion) that we have done in the past and to this day we have hidden inside. All these are within us. They do not disappear as long as we have not done some internal processing work to release them. You can see them as tenants who live in the basement of your house, and only occasionally do you become aware of them when you feel they are knocking from below or hear the fights and screams. The difference is that you can not just throw out those tenants. On the other hand, you also do not have to be their psychologist and solve their problems. It's not your job although you are the Master aspect.
In your dream one of these "tenants" has accumulated enough energy to appear in your life, on your doorstep, to attract your attention, to shake you up, to awaken you. You are asked to take care of the matter as if you were the house committee. No one else can do it for you, so the neighbors do not answer the intercom. The physical injury in the dream is meant to say that this dark aspect is hurt, painful. The pain you feel is his pain. And he wants you to help him.
