Nightmares are part of the equation

So by now you may have thought that I am all about happy good thoughts and times, and to a certain extent, you are right. Have you ever heard the quote, "You have to take the bad to have the good."? Dreams are wonderful amazing parts of our lives that empower us, and helps to inspire others. You will have dreams and they will be awesome and as they grow bigger than you ever expected, you will be that much more in awe! That's the empowerment, the passion that drives us. Life is not all roses though and there will be pitfalls and stumbling blocks. You may have guessed where I'm going next, and maybe you haven't. NIGHTMARES. Just the mention of the word may bring back memories of the last one you had if it was fairly recent. The great thing about nightmares is they encourage us to dream bigger and better.

Being schooled in ministry and leadership, one of the principals we studied is light always overcomes darkness. Have you ever noticed when you are away from the city lights and out in the wilderness or in the desert, it gets so dark, you can't see your hands in front of your face? But then something amazing happens and your eyes adjust and you can see. Then you look up. It really is amazing and awe inspiring. You see the Milky Way, Stars, Planets, Galaxies, infinity. Here is another amazing thing. You can get lost in inspiration and may even get a little anxious or scared. It's sometimes at that point that we may realize just how small and insignificant we are. Another amazing aspect is, even though we are staring out into infinity, the universe is staring back. You know your dreams are all part of the universe and the universe will conspire to make your dreams come to fruition. You may be living in a nightmare right now that looks like foreclosure and losing your house. You may be stuck with student loan debt, credit card debt and have collection agencies pestering you for money. We have been there done that, got the t-shirt only to be repossessed by a collection company! You may be wondering why I bring this up. Funny you should ask, as I was sent here from the universe! This is not some marketing ploy or anything like that. I will tell you there is help for everybody out there and if you are in that nightmare I mentioned above, I can refer you to someone that can help. Now the ball is in your court to solving the issue and putting the nightmare to rest, FOR GOOD!

Back to the path of enlightenment, DREAMS! I wish you could all see where my wife and I were at 15 yrs ago and see our dream at that time. Here's what's cool; by reading this y'all are now part of our dream! How cool is that? You may be familiar with a quote that goes something like this; "The greater the adversity, the greater the opportunity on the other side." When we were going through ministry and leadership college, we would always welcome adversity because we knew on the other side of it, is something much bigger than we could've ever imagined. Another selfish promotion for TAVI! I will tell you it's not an easy thing to do (welcome adversity), however, like anything else, the first step of the journey is the most important one. I encourage you to take it.
