Flavours of the month
I own and run a Bar and Restaurant in Durban, South Africa. We are situated inside a micro distillery and produce a range of spirits under the brand name Distillery 031.
We do classic cocktails well, using our house distilled spirits as well as a few more creative numbers, heres a few of our fav's at the moment.
Amaretto Sour
Amaretto shaken with egg, 031 Lemon cordial. Amaretti biscuit rim
The Salt Rocker
Knob Creek Bourbon, vanilla ice cream, Salt caramel and Vanilla salt
Hibiscus Gin Fizz
031 Durban Dry Gin, 031 lemon cordial, hibiscus and berry tea syrup, shaken with egg
Bohemian Ciapirinha
A hat tip to bohemia and lawlessness, classical caipirinha with added absinthe experience
031 Cachaca, 031 Ancestors absinthe, sugar, lime, fire
Mojito
Classic, Appletons Estate aged rum, brown sugar, mint, lime and soda
Roald Dahl Tribute: A fizzy lifting drink
Cream Soda, chocolate chip ice-cream, 031 Vanilla and Baobab liqueur, white chocolate
