This was my attempt to do a Vlog in march when I first got my Mavic Air after trading in DJI Spark.
New drone laws are pretty strict, so good luck finding a nice legal spot anywhere near the city. So I decided to do this video to show how far you have to go to fly your drone legally without violating any laws and even then it's not a guarantee that you are safe. What if someone is walking the dog and passes next to you somewhere in the wilderness?
Now you are flying your drone next to people which is against the law. You would think who would walk a dog in wilderness? I met someone while filming this very video in the middle of nowhere with a dog.
Anyhow, there is a beautiful park just before Squamish that is empty during winter and very, very, very busy in summer. I am going there on Tuesday and I am not sure will I be lucky even if I arrive at 7 am. I'll let you know.
