These are some fun shots. I've always enjoyed trains, and since I also live in Virginia, perhaps I'll have to go check out this train yard sometime.
In an other unrelated note, I checked out your YouTube channel after commenting on your intro post, and I saw that you had hike McAfee's Knob! I actually had just hiked it in September of this year and blogged about it, so it's always neat to see other people's experiences on that hike.
Keep up the good work! I'm looking forward to seeing more photos and videos from you!
Ah cool, a local Virginian. I live in Richmond so we have tons of train bridges and tracks that go all through town. I'll be sure to check out your post.
Question: since I'm new and have my own blog should I start posting some of that content here to try and build my following while also proving good content? I'll of course add new things as well, but the amount of good content I already have might be beneficial to this network.

Thanks for checking out my post. I appreciate it! I do enjoy the railroad tracks, so I'll keep Richmond in mind.
To address your question, that's sort of a gray area from what I can tell. I personally have no problem with reposting content from an existing blog. I've often seen users end the posts by saying "Originally posted at [url] on [date]" or something to that effect.
I'm sure that as you go back and look through the posts you want to port over, you'll want to make changes and such, and I think that will be great. I do encourage your idea of mixing new and old content, and I think you'll find that you'll start writing posts for Steemit and then port them over to your blog rather than the other way around haha but let's not get ahead of ourselves.
I think sharing the content you already have would be fantastic, especially if you actually take the time to comment on the images and give a well thought out post each time rather than just pointing to your blog link.
I say go for it. Thanks for asking a question. I'm always happy to answer any more that you have!
