Here is another of my FPV flights from January 2016. I flew this one with the TBS Caipirinha flying wing. The video was recorder with an onboard GoPro Hero4.

It's January 23, 2018, and I'm watching a drone video on a video sharing site that uses a blockchain-based social media platform to reward it's contributors.

May we all live in interesting times!

Btw, would you mind telling us the name of that mountain?

The mountain is Schneeberg.

So you paint incredible art and fly FPV. I am flying quadcopters for few years now as a way to force me to leave my workshop and breathe some fresh air :) I am planning to buy from banggood a simple version of flying wing to test it in Wicklow Mountains during summer. I will probably crash it and lose the equipment on the first try like I lost my gopro in Irish sea:) Great video, music and scenery.

Flying wings are quite a different story than quadcopters. You don't have that locked-in feeling and it's wobbling like hell if there is just a little wind. Make sure you have plenty of space to practice landing!

I am the most concerned that I need to move forward all the time, can't stop or fly in all directions :) I have the spot in mountains here in Ireland where there are no trees or houses, just high grass so I can test it without hurting anybody. I recently fly micro quadcopters, they are great in the park even. No risk to dog walkers. I would like the miniature flying wing if it is possible to do, but that would be crazy in Irish winds.
I showed my setup in one of my posts. I also built custom quadcopter based on star wars spacecraft if you are a fan.

If you are concerned to lose your wing I'd recommend you to use this device. It saved my planes and quads quite a few times, even when I crashed deep in the woods.
The great thing about even small wings is that you can fly up to 30 minutes which gives you long range capabilities, that is if you use a long range radio system like the TBS Crossfire.

Thanks for the tip. This marco polo is more expensive than my whole setup now :) I am sure it is worth it when you add gopro and all TBS components. Their videos I watched years ago started my interest with drones. Wanted to film from sky like you but now prefer fly around the trees with the smallest possible craft :)

You can actually use the TBS Crossfire receiver as a rescue beacon. If you have the bigger diversity receiver then it will even transmit the last GPS position back to the transmitter.

i am not going to watch it,
since i am not ready to get one just yet,
why put me through such wanting and craving...
but i am glad you can have so much fun!
:-)

Well, the price for holding on the inner child is that one might get overwhelmed by "adult-problems"...

This might be one of the best fpv videos on dtube right now. (No offence to other fpv pilots) Just the location alone makes this video awesome.

Thanks @cryptotippy! I'll upload more of these here!

Very nice and relaxing!

Thanks!

Super cool drone shots man! I just released first ever drone video i would love some feed back if possible.

<3

Drones are really cool, some years ago this shot would be unpayable, and now you can do it, but legislation lags behind (as always) and is way too restrictive in my opinion.

Yes, it's a fantastic hobby. And yes, the bureaucrats are just killing it as they do it with everything.

I hate bureaucrats, they are like parasites who are killing the country.

Absolutely! It's the henchmen of the worst organized crime: the governments.

Excellent views! the drones are changing our vision to see the planet, it's like an eagle eye in the sky. You can see my video of Iguazu Falls in South America. Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay.

I hope you like this! regards

Thanks!

Wow!
Where was that?

Wow! That's impressive. Nice combination of images and sound. Had to give you my 100% :-)
May I ask where you got the music from?

Thanks @surfermarly!
It's "Swollen" by Bent.

How many of these things do you have? I'm starting to want one now but they're quite a way off yet XD

goatsig

7 planes, 2 multicopters and a few smaller flying toys.

That's quite the collection :O

Nice flight! Are you using Crossfire for range?

Yes, and I love it!
