A few years ago I bought my first drone, I bought it because I enjoy photography and visiting blogs about drone photography was sonething that I did at that time.
A year or so after I started to notice that some drone pilots started to build their own race drones, it looked like it was something for people that is really into RC so I skipped those posts.
After a few months it became more common to see questions and answers about building a race drone.
Still, not interested.
It was until a guy in my community called for a drone pilots meet up and I decided to go to talk about drones and get tips as well as talk about my experiences.
As soon as I arrived to the place(a football field) I saw this drone flying superfast and the guy controlling it was making quick turns, flips, and up and doens with it.
I was Amazed and thousands of questions came to my mind, so I approached him and started to talk to him.
A few months later I bought a Ready to fly race drone and started learning to fly.
Flying race drones is really different compared to the GPS asdisted drones(photography drones) you have to wear FPV googles and the drone flyes superfast(most pf them reach 50mph)
And of course I crashed in my first attempts, but is part of the hobby.
You need to learn how to fix your drone on the go, wich it leads you to get dedicated tools and replacement parts.
I really love this new hobby.
