A place to begin with this word. While the human population is not the main constituent of the planet. It is probably the only population of animal that will be able to read this post. To that, in this post I will be using the human population only when I speak of constitute.

Yesterday I made a post about a possible alternative route we might take with the Steem platform.

That project has a few constituents right now from all of the members on the Steem chain. Those who are there now are forming the constitution in which the project will run.

The purpose of the constitution is set out by those who agree on it. The two main purpose that I see are for wealth or benefit of a people or nation. Very often it is these two opposing sides fighting against each other for their goals.

On one side their is the ambition to create a venue that can create more wealth and build the wealth it holds.

The second side is looking toward the people in the constituency and the effects any change might have on them, both negative and positive.

Unfortunately, the current systems in place to protect the people are available to the highest bidder in our societal systems. Again it seems to be the case in Steem too. The constituency and the constituents who form the constitution are ignored by the draw of a more personal ambition by those who gain control. (just like me only I don't have that control, (yet) lol)

I have given a few examples with the use of the word constitute and the words that are used to represent it in regards to people. It is also used in another context. It can be used to demonstrate a reason why. A new species introduced to an area might have adverse effect on the Eco system, It might constitute the main reason why another species has become scarcer.

Alcohol constitutes 96% of all drunken behaviour. The other 4% is the muppets drinking alcohol free beer and pretending they get the joke the rest are laughing at. Let's be straight about this. Beer has alcohol in it. If it does not, it is lemonade with a beer flavour added so you will pay more for it. It's still bloody lemonade.

Building a constitution that limits the freedom of those in control to the will of those who are meant to benefit. Those who are in control are easily removed if shown not to have the best interests of the constituency fore-front. Anyone holding such a position of control, should gain an annual reward for time given. This reward can be withdrawn should a future event reveal any untoward dealings of the past.

These things the being held responsible for actions after the fact with an impact on the person who performed the act. Lessening any negative impact an action might have on the community.

There are many things which will combine to constitute what we could all agree on is fair for everyone. It might never be perfect to suit every situation. We can work to eliminate and conflicts we find along the way. Things do not always have to be a this way or that way. Maybe both ways need to be done.

A constitution should not limit the people who it will represent, It should enable them. It should be an assurance of what will be there when ever possible. If not 100% of the time.

Maybe we can make a consteemution and this would be how the project progresses and maintains the interests of the consteemuency it is designed to represent and support.

This would be a true constitute. The Constitution put forward by the constituents in the constituency effectively representing the interests of the constituents.
