Alphabay SCAMMER Made $1,000,000 In 14 Months!

in drugs •  7 years ago

With Alphabay down it's easy to talk bad stuff about it, but I mean phishing's been an obvious problem since day one. Unfortunately I didn't realize (or I think anybody for that matter) how big of a problem this actually was and still is. Did you ever lose money to phishers?

(UPDATE)
I received an encrypted message, looks like I messed up one thing in the original story lol.. the mate didn't make $1M revenue. One million POUNDS.. even more ;)

i think this influences bitcoin significantly.....people underestimate the black market....the amount of traffic on alpha was insane

@twigg i completly agree people trade USD/GBP/EUR to bitcoin to buy off the markets so it has a massive influence on the value. However im not sure what to think, if you followed my logiic of people buy bitcoin to by drugs then you would think that the price would drop as alpha and hansa are now down. why do you think it is still on the rise?

i think its just blowing any stability(alomg with segwit and the chinese hardfork coin saga) making it very volitile....ya the amount pumped into darkwrb act to maintain stability.....right now its up and down alot

I dont think the markets going down did THAT much damage, but it probably did have a little bit of a noticable effect

What happened to your live stream earlier dudeee?

he did one for 40 mins at like 9ish (not sure what time it was)

Mine cut out wouldn't work after that.

I did one on YouNow and Youtube :)

Cool! I watched your videos when I was writing my detailed technical report about Hansa, it should be the best and most thorough there is, I'm serious :)

You can read why user were caught, TL;DR they were lazy and used inhouse functions of Hanza instead of PGP. You seem to be quite informed, I'd be very happy to discuss blockchain (dark) markets before I'll post about them, what do you think?

I love your lsd sound, reminds me of Moog and Pete Namlook.

Do you mean the AVILSD intro? And eyyy that's awesome, cheers for linking!

Yep I mean the AVILSD intro :)) You made good comments so I guess I put it in there somewhere :D

Thanks for the warning, real sorry for those who got scammed..

Everyone will probably go through at least one scam and/or SE (social engineer) once through their life

It makes a nice salary. Your video is great, I keep watching.

Cheers, thank you for the support <3

This is bad and shouldn't be happening in crypto space at all

think its inherent in the crypto world, but mayb the escrow involved needs to be put on a block chain..this is where the real temptation comes from...when someone has millions in escrowed bitcoin, running seems temping...need to remove that temptation somehow

With a decentralized future though it might be a little bit easier to spot scams

1.000.000 pounds in 1 year, just by ripping off people via phishing... welcome in 2017, maybe i should develop some hackingskills 😂

Hacking definitely can be lucrative on the darknet
