Let's Talk About Drugs, Suicide, and Extreme Sports (Mainly Drugs)

Drugs to some are poison.
To other's, they're the only hope they have.
Few will be so lucky as to teeter on the edge and dabble in the occasional use of narcotics, the rest of us will be convinced it's
all just like a really long dice game and that we will one day discover the perfect strategy and come out on top.

A lot of people don't realize that the effect they have on
others is immeasurable and even the slightest bit of judgement
or hate can do more to fuck up a person's well-being than
any chemical out there.

If people could just be more humble, less sure that they
themselves are somehow worth more as a human than the
crack whore on the corner and stop fucking believing that it's
possible to know anything about anything - & I mean anything - in this world without having lived it first-hand...

Then maybe there wouldn't be so many people out there feeling so worthless, unwanted and irrelevant that they are willing to risk their lives just so they might feel something different for a change.

At some point, you have to stop and you have to consider how often you've encountered situations and circumstances in which you found out that the reality of it was nothing like the lies.

Months of waiting, planning and finally I was going to see my best friend again. 9 months in jail over a drug charge, he entered the system addicted to heroin and he got out of jail on the 15th of July.

I waited and waited. I got angry, I felt so totally forgotten and when I was finally fed up and went to send him a message to fuck off on facebook I found a post from family members announcing his death.

The "unfortunate circumstances" they mentioned so gracefully translated to:
Oktober returned to using heroin and miscalculated his last dosage, two days after he was released from jail.

Not because they weren't aware, not because nobody expected it - but because the mother fuckers were too scared to call for help.

IDGAF if you read any of this, as long as you read the following and consider giving it a shot.
Love everyone. Love them for what they are, for what they aren't and how they choose to live.
Never be a hateful or condemning individual because I promise that whatever the person beside you or behind you, where ever they might be ... their life is not like yours.
You have no idea how far they may have come from what they once were, maybe for once they are actually doing things to improve... you're nobody to deter them.
You're nobody to do anything that could give someone any reason to feel negatively about themselves.
Just fucking be nice.
