I’m so glad I’m not a drug addict. I love being sober personally. I’ve done drugs in the past and experimented, but nothing is quite as good as hard work and being there for my family in a sober mental state, helping me reach my full potential. I truly wish everyone could feel as good as I do sober. There would be less problems, less suffering, and less death. Family wouldn’t lose other family members due to overdosing and there would be less crime. Just think of all the money wasted that could have gone to something actual helpful like investments or to memory building activities.
Don’t get me wrong I believe people have a right to take a substance and not be arrested, but I will continue to advance a non-hard drug lifestyle for myself and my children. If you can’t enjoy being sober that doesn’t mean you should turn to hard substances as a crutch, it means you should work on making your sobriety enjoyable. Hard drugs are a waste of money IMO. Even legal drugs like alcohol cause a major strain on families when abused.
