Everyone has probably seen a pocket watch, either in real life or in a movie. If so, have you ever wondered what is on the inside?
This is the inside of my grandpa's watch. It is a railway watch he got from retiring from a machine shop. I don't know much about it, but plan on trying to find out more about it in the near future. I know it's a Belair, and that it is a 17 jewel. But that is about it. Here are a few more pictures. Oh, those are real crystals inside it. They are what the gears ride on, like a bearing.
