Hi,
I just started Drug Wars. But as every game I play I want to optimize the way of playing and also do it free-to-play. So I did some calculations for the very beginning.
Drug Wars is a new business simulation game on the steem block chain. By building up your virtual drug production you get rewarded by your proportion of the total production in the game. Rewards get paid automatically one per day. So this is a great opportunity to earn some steem by having a bit fun.
The three(/four) resources you have to work with are drugs (D), weapons (W) and alcohol (A) and the Headquarter (HG) as limitation.
Looking at the first basic production facilities the ratio of (D:W:A) is 1 : 2 : 2. Also it is important to know the ratio of costs to improve/level the facilities (at level 2):
If you sum this up the optimal ratio of production rate has to be 1 : 1.5 : 1.275.
This will be the reason for running out of drugs at first and weapons at second. So for the beginning it should be the aim to reach the optimal ration to grow up fast. Because HQ is limiting the level of the facilities this should be improved at first. Afterwards the drug production should be leveled up. As third the weapons and as the last production the Alcohol should be leveled up.
Later with higher level and other facilities the ratios will change a bit. When I reach this point I will do the new math of course. ;)
But it will take time without spending steem....

Best regards and a lot of fun!
