Lamb - Gabriel (Autorotation drum and bass cover)

If you know us, you'll know that we quite enjoy a bit of drum and bass. So, our cover of Lamb's Gabriel is in that style. But, why that song?

It's Laura's favourite song, as she explains: "On an emotional level, as even as a strong independent woman, the idea of being held and protected by a benevolent force whether physical or metaphysical is quite appealing. The song lends itself very well to being sung in epic spaces. I sang it in the chamber of the Great Pyramid in Egypt to enjoy the Helmholtz effect due to its acoustics - it’s a really long reverb which is amazing! I also sang it in Alcobaca monastery in Portugal, which also has great acoustics and regularly belt it out going through dark tunnels in the boat to stop me getting scared. "
