Running On STEEM Episode#44 - No More Living Off STEEM

Hey, guys!

Just a big fat update on what's been going on in my life and the direction and plans of this podcast. As you know, the state of cryptocurrency right now is really bad. A sea of crimson red. Not very sustainable for someone who lives off steem. I've been here before back in March/April and the markets did recover. Having said that, I will not be living off STEEM any longer and am currently looking for a job.

In this episode, I reflect back on my experience of being able to live off steem through content creation in steemit for the past 6-7 months and I also go into detail about why it's about time to move on and get a full time job. Don't worry. I'll still be podcasting everyday that time permits :)

Joking - I wish you all the best for the job search! I have been away for the past couple of weeks due to serious health issues - and I am actually on the process of reducing my work hours and eventually quitting my current job.

Not for living off crypto (yet) but to rethink my life a bit - it has been a rough couple of years and it is time to regroup and recenter myself.

Still it is good you are still planning to podcast "on the side", I would miss your stuff!

I hear ya, man. I just had a rough stretch that started back in late 2016. I think I'm finally over it. I guess that's why I'm ok with going back to work.

Hate that we're on the low tide now in crypto rates. I do hope u find a good and satisfying job man which also allows you enough time to do your personal stuff as well. Hoping that @dsound will continue to support your podcasts because they certainly is one of the best in terms of content wise among the others I've listened.

Good luck in getting a stable job man. Living off Steem and also any entrepreneurship-related job is difficult.

Hopefully you'll have time by then to still earn some Steem as an investment. And of course that Steem goes up in value soon... :)

Hats off to you for making it work on your blog and steemit.
And thanks for the well wishes on the job thing. I got something promising on the horizon. Yeah the plan is to work and still steemit on the side and wait for steem and and prices to go up 😀
