A new network has arrived to help Ethereum scale. Will it work? And a whole new artificial intelligence smart contract platform called Cortex is here. Will it be the go-to A.I. blockchain? Find out in this DSound exclusive podcast called Coffee 'N Crypto.

In this 38th Cup of Coffee 'N Crypto, we go more into detail about the following information and more:
Loom Network (LOOM)
Loom Network was created to help Ethereum deal with the scaling issues it currently has.
It is an infrastructure platform that helps developers build their DApps (decentralized applications) by creating their own DAppChains. These DAppChains run parallel to the main Ethereum network allowing for each DApp to have its traffic and transactions run through its own sidechain.
It has a few DApps such as DelegateCall, a question-answer DApp and CryptoZombies, a coding school, using the platform.
It has seen its volume skyrocket the past three days and its price go up three-fold.
Is this because it recently got listed on Binance three days ago ("the Binance Bump") or are people using this platform besides the actual Loom developers (who created DelegateCall and CryptoZombies).
More information in audio.
Cortex (CTXC)
Cortex is a public smart contract platform that allows developers and smart contract initiators (anyone) to use artificial intelligence and machine learning in their smart contracts.
Their goal is also to allows DApps using artificial intelligence to be built on their platform. They are also redesigning a virtual machine to add "computational cost for model inference."
Their whitepaper is filled with a lot of legal disclaimers and a couple red flags have been identified, but that doesn't mean the project's future is dim. A chain will put AI on the blockchain, just wonder if Cortex will be the team to do it.
But with over 131 million in volume in the past 24 hours people and/or institutions are buying up this token whose price has more than doubled from $0.82 less than a month ago.
Is this due to their ICO strategy of having only "qualified investors" purchase their tokens like large institutional money? Or is this a show of faith to this AI smart contract platform?

Hope this DSound audio helps provide value to you while you navigate this cryptospace.

Hi Chief...Excellent choice of coins and their value seems to be growing steadily. I wish I had invested in their ICO's. The future looks bright for ETH with Loom network, maybe it's one of the reasons why the price of ETH is up at $775. Cortex seems interesting too, though I don't know much about AI , I think it where we are headed with all those robots and stuff. Thanks for sharing :)

Ay you're very welcome and appreciate your time, attention, knowledge, and positivity :)
Righttttt ETH might be able to fix their scaling issues with Loom Network and other infrastructure plays. Plenty of room for these blockchain platforms especially when "the mainstream" catches on. Righttt I think AI is going to be interesting with our society. I am Team Human but I know it can be helpful in certain instances.
Much love and respect bud.
