Hello guys! I'm @crissimoes and this is my sixty sixth post here on @dsound. Are you ready for another class?
Today will be the second part of the Portuguese Word Order.
Let's get started!
In a question, the portuguese word order is the same that we use in a statement. However you have to raise the intonation at the end to make it sound as a question.
And in portuguese we don't need to use a verb at the beginning. In some situations you only need to put a question mark at the end of the question.
Let's check some examples:
Elas vão ao jantar?
Are they going to dinner?
Elas - is the Subject
vão - is the Verb
ao jantar - is the Object
Ele tem dinheiro?
Does he have money?
Ele - is the Subject
tem - is the Verb
dinheiro - is the Object
Nós vamos correr?
Are we going to run?
Nós - is the Subject
vamos - is the Verb
correr - is the Object
We have come to the end of another Portuguese class.
If you have any question please let me know in the comments bellow.
Hope you have enjoyed my sixty seventh post here on @dsound and I'm looking foward to see you next time!
Bye!!
