Hello guys!
I'm @crissimoes and this is my third post here on @dsound! I have really enjoyed doing these classes for you all learn Portuguese. I know it is not easy to learn this language, but I will try my best and make the classes very simple and easy to understand.

Let's go to the third Portuguese class!

Personal Pronouns + Verb To Be

Personal Pronouns in Portuguese are:

• Eu (I)
• Tu (You)
• Ele (He)
• Ela (She)
• Nós (We)
• Vós (You) - Plural
• Eles/Elas (They)

Remember my first class, when I told you that verb to be is verb "Ser" or "Estar" in Portuguese?

Well, there are 2 types of verb to be.

• Ser - Related to a permanent situation.
• Estar - Related to a temporary situation.

examples:

Eu sou o Tom. (I am Tom)
Eu estou cansado. (I am tired)

First I will conjugate Verb "Ser"

• Eu sou (I am)
• Tu és (You are)
• Ele/Ela é (He/She is)
• Nós somos (We are)
• Vós sois (You are)
• Eles/Elas são (They are)

Now, I will conjugate Verb "Estar"

• Eu estou (I am)
• Tu estás (You are)
• Ele/Ela está (He/She is)
• Nós estamos (We are)
• Vós estais (You are)
• Eles/Elas estão (They are)

Let's make a sentence with verb to be

Ele é bonito. (He is pretty)

Eu sou Portuguesa. (I am Portuguese)

Tu estás contente. (You are happy)
