San José. (Venezuelan Vals)

in dsound •  6 years ago

A warm musical greetings.

Lionel Belasco (1881-1967). He was a composer from Trinidad and Tobago who spent some years in Venezuela in the 10's and 20's. This song I present to you today is a waltz called San José. At first I called it Venezuelan Waltz but then the composer changed the name. Maestro Lionel was known for trying to include elements of jazz in Venezuelan music.

Here's my version of this waltz.

Thank you for listen.
