The Tear is the first track I heard from Taylor. I drove out to our hometown for the weekend and stopped by his studio - pics next time I promise - and it's probably the loudest track too. The sounds are very alien and grating, similar to how I think of the Tear and what it does to the minds of our characters and the world at large. It is a force of change on a global scale while also an entity with consciousness powerful enough to infiltrate some people, much like it does Other-Smith in my story.
