Greetings Steemstars!

How would you like $1,000,000 (or Steem equivalent)?

I bet you'd say yes to that, wouldn't you?

Or at least consciously you would.

However, your subconscious mind might have other ideas.

Find out why the collective and individual portrayal of wealth and what it means could be causing you to self-sabotage - all thanks to your dear old subconscious mind trying to keep you safe.

It loves you and wants to protect you!

Have a listen and find out what you can do about it.

You might enjoy these two books about the preconscious mind:

[KUB58]   Lawrence KUBIE, Neurotic distortion of the creative process, Lawrence: University of Kansas Press, 1958.

[KUB78]   Lawrence KUBIE, Symbol and neurosis, New York: International Universities, 1978.

The psychology here is accurate.

Consciousness selects from preconsciousness. Which is far more vast. And then there are the associations and habits and unconscious operations which are not accessible to consciousness. Even more vast.

Mostly consciousness arises during orienting to novelty. So rarely.

Even better than thinking about images that come to mind when you think about money, try to put yourself in some context where you must make an quick action that reflects your preconscious or unconscious ontology.

Record it and watch the result, that is a bit more difficult but even more revealing. This is how sometimes other persons can know more about ourselves than we know about ourselves.

Your observation is very accurate regarding the unconscious behavior of most people towards wealth; resteemed.

Thanks for these observations.

That is a great point about imagining yourself in a situation of having to make a quick action or decision, as that is a real trigger moment and can quickly bring the biggest limiting beliefs to mind.

I really appreciate this, as it is much more precise and just that little tweak will help people go deeper into their blocks more quickly.
