DSound v0.3: Fixes to upload, Improved validations, New IPFS gateway, Tags without prefix, easy IPFS local node and much more!

I notice dsound loses the history of what you've previously uploaded. Why does this happen? Can you or someone else consider fixing this? For example, I would have expected this to at least show up under my dsound profile but nothing is there.

Notice there is nothing really connecting this upload to my profile. It's basically impossible to locate this unless you know the exact url of the upload.

This problem is amplified by the fact that there's no good way to search for an upload on dsound.

How is anyone suppose to find past uploads on dsound?

I also notice that that uploaded song can't even play either!

Thanks a lot for the report. The fact that the sound is missing from your profile should be an issue and will look at it.

In the future I would suggest to use our Discord server to report this kind of issues, so that we can have it all in one spot easier to manage.

Relating to the song not playing, it is the nature of the IPFS network. If a file is not requested that often, then the caches will clean it up and it will naturally vanish from the cloud.

What you can do is go to upload and re-upload the music file (must be exactly the same file), then cancel and do not publish. That will refresh that file on IPFS network for some extra period of time... Or now you can republish your content again and monetize it again if you prefer... :)
