The end of the beginning i suppose. the album begins with this track. The radioactive decay of nostalgia . Innocent and naive. The sounds are synthetic but the input of many songs are wonderful analog as can be. The mistakes and happy accidents of catching the phenomena of a composition become precious snd novel. I absolutely adore the mindlessness of the beat or the miss of an articulation causing some pent up energy to smudge a halfstep off. The learning curve of the iPad was such that you record and move on to gestalt other apps different algorithms of possibilities, making the supercomputer yours and not vice versa. It is not for the perfectionist or close minded in aesthetics.

Summer 94 was spinning land of the loops and skinny dipping. Playing sax on mizzou campus til 3 am outside the library. Recording with quinn palmer amd the ant man bee, potluk cd. Beth weaver. Guess i was too nice. The akai ax 6o was the controls of the spacecraft, skinny dipping in finger lakes with the girls who we hung with at shattered and afterbarsl. The haunting strains of mathematical park by land of the loops.

Composed using an ipad air 2 then later an ipad pro using garageband with the moog model 15 and other third party apps.
