Listening to instrumental music like this is fun because the sounds stimulate the mind and at the same time provide a rest from our world of constant talking. Tomas George with digital music masters at digitalmusicmasters.com helped me discover this and gave me the information, confidence, and mentor I needed to produce music with no experience starting in 2017. Tomas recommended I listen to Deadmau5 who has become my teacher in making trance music that helps me relax, play, dance, and reconnect with my divinity when my soul feels lost in fear and future.
How did I compose this song? In Ableton Live 9 Suite, I used three instruments to make everything except the drum beats.
- Serum synthesizer with SynthHacker preset Lead58 from inside Trance and Progressive House Leads played on my M-Audio Code 61 Black MIDI controller. This is the main sound.
- For the arpeggio, I used the Sytrus synthesizer on the Acid 2 preset along with C Major, velocity, and note length MIDI effects played on my M-Audio Oxygen 25 MK IV USB Pad/Keyboard MIDI Controller.
- The pad comes from Morphine Additive Synthesizer using the PAD Juno MC preset on my Push 2.
The drum beats are a few of my favorite samples from the Indie Dance and Nu Electro WAV files which were part of a huge sample pack I bought originally with FL Studio 12.

I am the most energetic person youll ever meet! There was a problem though, drugs. The bad stuff started taking all my neighbors and friends. Mr. Banfield... I enjoy your self-expression on just about every level but this composition was starting to give me an adverse physiological reaction. If I was forced to listen to it, I would have to start howling like a canine to comfort myself.
Might be because I am on the autistic spectrum and have physiological sensitivities.
That being said, I do have a taste for electronic music (Kraftwerk, Bjork, DAT Politics, Walter Carlos, to name a few.)
I suspect it was certain high pitches that my meat suit was having an allergic reaction to.
I am curious if anybody on the autistic spectrum might be having a similar physiological response.

I have to admit it does dissuade me. I'm not trying to take anything away from Jerry. He has worked hard and brought a lot to Steem, but the quality is not there on the music. I really respect that he doesnt care what I think though, and being bad at something doesn't mean you should stop. If anything do more. I'm not the best myself to be honest. I use serum a lot, great soft synth. If I may suggest you use the chaos generators to modulate different parameters in small amounts-great way to add complexity, especially to pads.
