The Great Engine

What comes to mind when you here the word Engineer? Well, Urban Dictionary has the following definition:

"A kick-ass uber-genius with godly math and science abilities, the training for wich being at the expence of those abilities for spelling and talking to members of the opposite sex."

But did you know that the word is derived from Engine, litterally meaning 'the one who looks after the engine'.

So I am an Engineer and I wanted to make a song that related to that; so why not a song about steam engines. They are big, complex, old and makes a lot of interesting sounds. So today I give you "The Great Engine". A house track that is a tribute to a bygone time.

The vocal comes from an old recording (1960s) of a man telling stories from his childhood in Seaford, Sussex. Courtesy; acclivity on freesound.org.

Enjoy!

You have a minor misspelling in the following sentence:

kick-ass uber-genius with godly math and science abilities, the training for wich being at the expence of those abilities for spelling and talking to members of the opposite sex.
It should be which instead of wich.

Hey, good of you to notice. However it is a quote and as such I do not think that I should change it.
