This is a live music from me and helped by friends.
In a song on 1976's hits album, "Hotel California", The Eagles warns its listeners of two 'dangerous' things, women and California. Or, more precisely, a California girl.
The Eagles changed the Beach Boys' 1965 appeal in "California Girls" ('I wish they all could be California girls'). Apparently something drastic happened to the girls at Golden State (California) between 1965 and 1976.
As they write "Hotel California," the Eagles may have come to the conclusion that the 'most beautiful woman in the world' also comes with many carrying 'problems'.
Don Henley, writing the lyrics of this song, focuses on California's perception in the collective imagination of Americans and the world with the real reality in California or Los Angeles in particular.
