“Art should not be for art’s sake. Art should be for humanity's sake”
Nilankur Das, founder of Thus. and organiser of the Monday Fix, says his activism journey began when he saw a photograph of the Greenpeace Rainbow Warrior as a young boy (A ship involved in anti-whaling and nuclear testing campaigns during the late 1970s). This started him thinking about ways to change environmental policy using a creative approach – activism with art.
