Steinway Piano... (everyday)

in dsound •  7 years ago  (edited)

So... Last week I had the pleasure of recording a Baby Grand Steinway for a track I'm working on. However, after putting it in yesterday, it just didn't work no matter what I tried. (think I overplayed the chords, too many notes).

However, in the future I'm hoping to go into creating sample packs for producers, and this gave me the chance to practice that process.

I mixed the track how I'd like to hear it, with all the ambience and creeks still in there. (I always think character and imperfection are so much more interesting to the ear)

If any producers would like to use this in a track, please feel free to download.

Recording Process
