Off the Heroic Dose EP. The inspiration for this song came to me years before i wrote it. I was speaking to a friend of mine, who always blows my mind; he read some lines to me out of this book. The book was about a sailor who got lost at see. Since they use the stars to navigate, the call it "Losing your north" when you get lost. That idea of losing your north stuck with me. Later I would use this concept to form the basis to this song. Its about finding yourself; and finding your north within yourself. Digging deep during hard time and finding strength.
