I really want to get one of those boxes that allows you to make the different noises depending on which side you hit. I can't think of what they are called now. You can do a snare and a bass drum or like a tom with them. It is a really cool concept. It would be something more analog too.

You mean a cajon. My clarinettist friend has one that I play sometimes. If quite like to learn more about drumming. I played African drums for a while.

Not bad at all! If you have a the option, consider trying out a plate reverb on the voice, you might like it. Also, maybe at the end, after the last strum, consider adding a fade out. Just suggestions.

Thanks. I do need to experiment some more with effects. I am using Ubuntu Studio and that comes with a few different reverbs. There are so many settings for those and so it can take a while to find the right one. I can be a little impatient to get things done. I know I can set a fade out, but need to work out how to do that in Ardour. I am sure there are tutorials out there.

So nice feel good type of tune. This would do well with hipster YouTubers :)

Thanks for sharing, nice laid-back track!

Just don't use dsound man, for a multitude of reasons. I'm still looking for a blockchain alternative. Musicoin seems dead as well, but it's next to impossible to find recent info on the platform.

dsound has some issues, but I think it could do with more support. Otherwise I can post to Soundcloud. As I said I plan to post to Bandcamp eventually, but do not expect to make much from that.

dsound is dead. Owner is MIA, taking 25% benificiary rewards of posts (which is preposterous compared to video-focussed dapps) and cashing out, tags are a complete joke. And playing something back that is more than 6 months old never works.

One is better off posting to any other decentralized OR centralized option and linking - unfortunately. At least that way you are in 100% control of tags, links and rewards.
