COME HOME .

You were not by my side this morning, your side of the bed was neat and straight, just like Nnena laid it the night before.

Last night, I had no pillow and the bed doesn't breathe, not in that ragged way you do when you are really tired or the silent way your chest raises my head up and brings it down. It doesn't breathe at all.

The night was deathly still, our bed was stiller. I missed your large hands cupping my head and combing my tresses. I missed tracing the little dots surrounding your nipples and having your hairs tickle my fingers.

There was no soft kiss at the center of my forehead to put me to sleep or to wake me up. There was no one to watch me while I wriggled my waist and hummed to Jon Bellion in front of the mirror. No one helped me wear my earrings or tucked in the stubborn wisps of my hair into its pin.

There was no one.
I miss you.
I miss us.
Please come home.

This is the first time I would be using Dsound, I saw it on @d-pend blog and decided to try it out. I must confess that this is the first time I would be doing a spoken word on any of my works.
This particular one was basically me doing some soul searching with words a hybrid between poetry and short story on a love theme.
I do hope y'all enjoy it and I definitely would appreciate feedbacks.. Till next time..much love😘😘
