This is me playing a lovely tune on my flute. I am thinking of recording a tune a day until the end of the month to support my fundraising efforts for the Blue Ridge Irish Music School.

► Listen on DSound

► Listen from source (IPFS)

I'm doing a fundraiser and all of the payouts from every post I share in March will be donated to the Blue Ridge Irish Music School (read about it in my earlier post).

This is a fundraiser for a great non-profit, so please spare an upvote if you have one, and should you be blessed with an abundance of FIAT and be moved to do so, you can donate directly to the school here.

Are you an Irish music fan already? Tell me some of your favorite tunes, and I might add them to the list to record and post for you!

Thanks @sammosk!

Is it low whistle or Irish flute?
I play low whistle, there is a post called Northern lights with a solo in intro and outro. I recall this melody, I cannot read scores so listening to the isolated flute makes it easier for me to learn.

It is Irish flute! Although, it is very similar to low whistle. If there are any tunes you'd like to know and want the solo flute, let me know and I'll record it for you!

I bought recently a low whistle book, as confess I am self taught and dunno much about the traditional tunes and way to play it. It is my fav though.

Upvote me :)
