Homemade Fried Chicken Wings

Who doesn’t know about fried chicken? I would say that this kind of chicken dish is so universal and the all time favorite of all ages. And I want to share you my personal way or recipe of a fried chicken.

My favorite part of chicken is wings, for me it is very tasty because the whole part is covered by skin which is very delicious and perfect for frying. With this part, the enough amount of meat is also tender and juicy which you can taste the flavor coming from the bones.

Here is how to cook this finger chicken wings

|Preparation Time: 30 Minutes|Cooking Time: 30 Minutes|Total Time: 60 Minutes|Servings: 2| |-|-|-|-|

Ingredients

||**»MARINATE:**| | -: | - | |**7**|chicken wings| |**6**|calamansi or lime| |**As you like**|salt| |**As you like**|black ground pepper| ||**»BATTER:**| |**1 cup**|all purpose flour| |**1 tsp**|garlic powder| |**1 tsp**|paprika powder| |**As you like**|salt| |**As you like**|black ground pepper| |**1**|egg| |**As you like**|water| |**1.5 cup**|fine bread crumbs| ||**»FRYING:**| |**330 ml**|palm oi|

Preparation

1. To marinate::

  1. First, I marinate the chicken with lime extract, dash of salt and pepper for at least 30 minutes but the longer time, the better

2. To make the batter::

  1. hen I will make the batter, whisk the flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt and pepper to taste. Then add the egg and just the right amount of water to dissolve the dry ingredients and become thick. Dip the chicken wings in the batter and roll in the bread crumbs.

3. Frying::

  1. Finally, dip fried the chicken in the hot oil to be crispy golden brown.

Notes

Here in the Philippines, it can be paired with hot rice; spaghetti meal with chicken; delicious snack with pansit; or just this finger licking fried chicken wings alone with beer or softdrinks… It is so flavorful!
