I can say that this is where it really got hard, a mixture of the altitude and hills were starting to take their toll. We were lucky enough to meet the Oldest Nepalese Climber to to make the Summit Min Bahadur Sherchan. He was 85 when he made it to the top of the world. A fantastic man with a goal in mind
- Save Mother Earth
- Remove boarders between people
- Save our Human Race
He was a fabulous man to talk to, through his grandchild which was also his interpreter, having such an impact on Kaleb and I.
Reaching Base Camp was easily the hardest thing I had ever done, and I can say wholeheartedly that I wouldn’t of made it without my son. We worked as a team, being there when the other one needed someone, and pushed each other to keep going.
My son said, “Dad, im not scared about trekking, I’m only scared about not making Base Camp as I don’t want to let everyone down!”
Clearly little man.... you are stronger than you think.
The next episode is where we come down from the mountain....in style on a Helicopter.....FIRST time ever!
Thanks for watching
The Adventurous Soul ( and proud Dad )
