Steem power up day (SPUD 6)- I have participated and powered up

Hi friends

First October is SPUD 6 and I participated in this event. I have Powered up my account with 200 steem and after this I have over 4100 SP in my account. Indeed every power up action is adding value to my account and I am happy being a participant of this event.

How's your experience and thoughts about it ?

    i thought the idea of SPUD was to put money in from FIAT outside of what is earned inside of steem?

      There is no such criteria mentioned however this is certainly a good idea to add SP through Fiat money.

        lol. that sounds like a political answer. no 'criteria' haha! that's funny. the idea of powering up with steem from inside the system does not make the price of steem go up because we did not BUY in, yes the power up stats look great but if that's from steem that was generated inside the system that's not really as good as buying steem using fiat in my eyes... like i just powered up 100 something steem from a power down. lol.

        (this is where you tell me you have never powered down, i know, i know... i know the routine!)
